Welcome to the homepage of Scott Cimarusti

About Me: Born and raised in the Chicago area until I attended the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. I now work at my Alma Mater.

I am an aspiring writer in my meager spare time, and have actually been published. I am the author of the e-book How to Get Started in Radio and Voice-Over Announcing, part of the “Dream Jobs to Go” series published by the now-defunct intellectua.com. Even though it did not rocket me to the top of the New York Times Bestseller List and/or make me millions of dollars, it was still my first paying writing job, and it started a lifelong quest to become a published novelist. I’ve entered a few short stories into contests with no luck — except for third place recognition in a contest sponsored by a local newspaper.

I’ve also completed a series of three novels entitled, The Last Archer of Laummoren and its sequels, The Last Archer’s Legacy and The Last Archer’s Return. The website for this project can be found at lastarcher.com. I’ve self-published these books and others through Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing and Draft2Digital. They’re available at Amazon in both paperback and Kindle formats, and in other eBook formats through Smashwords, Draft2Digital, and the iTunes Bookstore. As for my other writing… I’ve self-published some short story collections, too, and I also used to be a freelance tech writer. And if you’re interested, you can read my personal blog here, and my work/school blog here.

Or look me up on Twitter, LinkedIn, or Goodreads.

Here is some of my artwork and some video projects I’ve worked on over the years.

And for fun, here are some sound clips of some radio and production work I did a very long time ago.

I’m sure I will be updating this page periodically. Thanks for visiting–
